Jim O’Connell is Screenwriter/Co-Producer of Terrestrial Extras and the film is based upon his extraterrestrial encounters.

Jim has written six feature film screenplays and is currently working to complete a seventh. One of his screenplays, Widow’s Row, was showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival´s event called, "Pitch-This" in association with Canada´s Telefilm. This screenplay was also given glowing coverage by the DreamWorks studio executives.

In addition to his screenplays, Jim has written two television pilots and a treatment for a reality television series.

Jim has been requested to speak about his extraterrestrial encounters to numerous conference audiences around the country and provided information to Dr. Kenneth Ring at the University of Connecticut who studied the similarities between near-death experiences and alien abductions. Jim was also part of the study on E.T. contact conducted by Dr. John Mack at Harvard´s PEER Foundation.

Jim lives in Connecticut with his wife and family where the encounters began during childhood and continue to this day.
